Per-push vs. seasonal contracts
Per-push billing charges each visit, so a heavy winter costs more and a light winter costs less. A seasonal contract is one price for the whole winter, which makes budgeting simple and guarantees a spot on the route before storms hit.
What changes the price
Driveway length and width, parking lot size, walkways, where the snow can be pushed, trigger depth, timing requirements, and whether salting or ice management is included all affect the quote.
Why routes fill up in the fall
Snow crews can only serve the properties that fit a route between storms. Most Northwest Ohio providers lock in their winter routes in September through November, and late signups either pay more or get waitlisted.
Ice management matters as much as plowing
A cleared driveway can still be a liability if walkways and entries stay icy. For commercial properties especially, salting and ice control should be part of the plan, not an afterthought.
